Arsenic Reduction
Arsenic is a naturally occurring element found in groundwater. Those people on bore water should be aware of this.
Long term consumption of water with arsenic concentrations greater than 0.01mg/L can cause adverse health effects, even increasing the risk of cancer. Boiling water for drinking does nothing to reduce the potential effects of arsenic in water, rather it increases the concentration.
This system uses Metsorb HMRG, a highly effective granular adsorbent made from a patented Titanium compound, that removes Arsenic III & V, and other heavy metals including Lead, Cadmium, Copper, Chromium+6, Selenium and Zinc. It is NSF Standard 61 approved, does not require regeneration. Please send us your water test for review prior to ordering.
