LOCTITE 55 Thread Sealant Cord  is designed for sealing of metal and plastic pipes and fittings. It needs no cure time and results in an immediate, full pressure seal.

  • General purpose, threaded pipe and fitting sealant
  • Alternative to pastes, hemp and PTFE tape
  • Seals domestic and industrial pipe threads
  • Non-curing, immediate, full-pressure seal
  • Allows back-off to align fittings, will not shear and contaminate assemblies
  • Seals metal and plastic threaded fittings
  • Certified to ANSI/NSF standard 61
  • Plumbing Safety license: AS / NZS 4020:2002 Certificate # 8368 (Potable Water)
