In Line Calcite Filter for pH correction / neutralise acidic water

The K2548 inline calcite filter is one of Omnipure's K series inline filters that easily install directly to your water line and reduce weeping or seepage potential. This filter contains calcite, a crushed and screened white marble media, to neutralize acidic or low pH waters to a safer, less corrosive effluent. Note: this filter can increase low pH, not decrease pH. 

A PRV must be installed prior to the filter. Filter should be changed at least annually or more frequently when rated capacity is met or flow slows. 

Note: Filters with JJ fittings come from the factory with a small tubing in the ends to protect from dust; this tubing needs to be carefully removed prior to installation; to release the tubing it is important to hold the collet fitting against the filter body with a fingernail and gently pull the tubing out; if you rip it out then it may damage the fitting and any warranty is void; if this does happen during your installation then it is important not to continue the installation and call us and return the filter as we may be able to supply replacement collet fittings.
